![]() Yes, it is VERY effective without the aspirin. I have several reasons for thisġ) The major study(24 weeks!) on the efficacy and safety of the EC stack when used over a long term for weight loss did not include aspirin. I do not endorse adding asprin to the EC stack. Popular ephedra supplements of the past often contained aspirin (or its herbal equivalent, white willow bark). I believe aspirin was deemed to be unnecessary and inconsequential but whatever works for you. Personally, after being off of all ephedrine for well over a year, I enjoy my training more, I've never made better gains, and my diet and discipline has helped me lose MORE bodyfat then ephedrine has ever helped me lose. Caffeine is much less powerful of a stim the ephedrine. Or decrease one 8mg tab to ease the jitters, its not the caffeine, its the ephedrine doing that. No questions about it, that's a good way to use it. If I can't talk you out of it, then listen to Mr. There goes any hopes there if it applies to you. Some are fine, and some the media reports death (I call b.s on that, but just to give you an idea).įurthermore, most sports organizations have banned the drug, even in small amounts. ![]() Of course, this is all dependant on how your body reacts to the drug. In addition, you need to be aware of some of the side effects, even on 24 mg per dose! Heart palipations, nervousness, anxiety, insomnia, increased cortisol output, amphetamine induced psychosis, anger management issues, physiological and psychological addiction and that's just mentioning a few! This slower metabolsim might last a few days, or it might never come back. ![]() The caffeine is the primary fat burner ingredient, the ephedrine just speeds everything up, and the Aspirin slows down the body's metabolization of both drugs so the effects last longer.Īs with amphetamines, there is a price to pay by having your body speeded up, and that is a slower metabolism in the end until your body can readjust. I used and abused ephedrine for almost my entire 20's. I strongly discourage people from taking bodyfat measurements too seriously - they are a gauge, but the best gauge is still the mirror. Furthermore, bodyfat measurements are thrown around like they are an exact science, when they are actually far from it. ![]() I don't mean to come off as sounding negative, but I'm not a fan of supplements for fat burning. If you've been testing over time, then there will be an increase in reliability only as it pertains to you. If your bodyfat measurements are based on hydrostatic testing, as a one-off, you could be as low as 11.6% or as high as 15.6%. Well, the standard error for hydrostatic testing is +/- 2%, calipers are +/- 4%, all bets are off for electro-impedence testing. You're at 13.6% now, looking to be at 12% by January. Second, your bodyfat measurements and your expectations for improvement lie within the standard error for such measurements. Unfortunately, I have zero science to back this up. I simply believe that your body's metabolism will be less likely to re-bound when you come off the ECA stack. I'm a proponent of letting your body come to grips with a new regime rather than trying to force the hand. First, I still don't think that an ECA stack will provide any long-term benefit.
